Venture reps WinCo Foods in grocer’s DFW market debut

Venture Commercial Real Estate has represented WinCo Foods in securing five locations to mark the discount grocer’s entry into the Dallas-Fort Worth market. WinCo has announced that the first two stores in Fort Worth and McKinney will open Thursday, February 6. Additional locations in North Richland Hills, Lewisville and Duncanville will open in the future.

Kevie Beard, McGregor Converse, Jonathan Cooper and Theo Thompson of Venture represented WinCo in negotiations for all of the sites. Caroline Woodbury and Don Woodbury of DWC Commercial Properties, LC coordinated acquisition, development and entitlement of the properties.

The five locations are as follows:

- Southeast corner of N. Graves Street & U.S. Highway 380 in McKinney

- Southwest corner of Crowley Road and Sycamore School Road in Fort Worth

- Northeast quadrant of Rufe Snow Dr. and NE Loop 820 in North Richland Hills

- Southeast corner of W. Main Street and N. Old Orchard Lane in Lewisville

- Northeast quadrant of U.S. Highway 67 and S. Cockrell Hill Road in Duncanville
