Venture Commercial completes 138,000 SF of big box transactions

Venture Commercial has completed three big box transactions in the Dallas-Fort Worth market totaling more than 138,000 square feet. The three transactions showcase Venture’s range of services and include landlord representation, tenant representation and disposition.
Spec's leases space at Cityview Centre in Fort Worth
Spec’s Wines, Spirits and Finer Foods has leased a 55,800-square-foot anchor space in the Cityview Centre Shopping Center located at 4720 Bryant Irvin Road, at the southwest corner of Bryant Irvin Road and Loop 820 (I-20). This will be Spec's 11th location in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and will be its largest store to date. Spec's has over 140 locations totaling over 1.8 million square feet throughout Texas and has been in business since 1962.
Christopher Gibbons and Michael Dearden of Venture Commercial represented the landlord in lease negotiations. Jeff Brand of Brand Capital Partners and Jody Detmore with SFP Brokerage represented Spec’s Family Partners, Ltd. Cityview Centre is owned by an affiliate of Dallas-based shopping center operator Retail Plazas, Inc.
Former Albertsons in Allen sold to JumpStreet
Venture Commercial has completed the sale of a 62,332-square-foot former Albertsons building located at 2031 W. McDermott Drive in Allen to the owners of Jumpstreet. John Zikos, Christopher Gibbons, Amy Pjetrovic-Hunnicut and Chris Booras of Venture represent Albertsons, LLC in the North Texas disposition of Albertsons stores. Newmark Real Estate of Dallas, LLC and Mike Quinlan of Newmark Knight Frank Frederick Ross of Denver represented Jumpstreet.
Jumpstreet opened its first indoor trampoline park in 2007 in Colorado and has expanded with locations in three states. Jumpstreet's current DFW locations include North Central Expressway and Royal Lane in Dallas, W. Park Blvd and Midway Road in Plano, and 5615 Colleyville Blvd. in Colleyville.
99¢ Only Stores leases 20,000 SF at Parker Crossing in Plano
Larry Leon, Clay Mote and David Schnitzer of Venture Commercial represented 99c Only Stores in a 20,000-square-foot lease in the Parker Crossing Shopping Center located at 1110 E. Parker Road in Plano.
