Venture reps Nebraska Furniture Mart in 433-acre land purchase

Venture Commercial Real Estate announced today that it represented Nebraska Furniture Mart in the purchase of four tracts of land in the Dallas-Fort Worth market totaling 433 acres. The site, located south of Hwy 121 and east of Plano Parkway in The Colony, will be the home of the Omaha-based company’s fourth and largest retail store.
Venture Commercial’s Larry Leon, Jonathan Cooper, and Bob Moore consulted on site selection and provided comprehensive market analysis. The largest of the four land parcels is a 308-acre tract sold by the Maharishi Global Development Fund. David Davidson Jr., also with Venture, and David Davidson Sr. of Davidson Real Estate, assisted Leon, Cooper, and Moore in the assemblage of the surrounding land parcels to complete the 433-acre acquisition.
