Charlotte W. Cooper was introduced to retail real estate while working for preferred Target developer Weber & Company. She went on to work for the high-end national retailer Chico’s, F.A.S. prior to starting her career at Venture in 2006. Her ability to leverage the property owner’s and retailer’s point of view in order to pinpoint valid real estate options in negotiations brings significant value to her clients. Charlotte has had the opportunity to represent a broad array of landlords including Inland Western, Bank of America Trust Department, Billingsley Company and Centennial Real Estate Company. In addition, she was involved in the leasing and development of The Shops at Vineyard Village, a 400,000+ square foot shopping center at Glade and State Highway 121, in Euless, Texas, working with Venture’s John Zikos. Together they were able to lease the property to 99% before the sale of the asset.
Charlotte’s competitive drive and strong work ethic were prerequisites to joining John Zikos and Chris Gibbons on the Albertsons disposition team. The team successfully leased and/or sold in excess of 1.5 million square feet of Albertsons’ assets. Her growing big box retail experience includes Mervyns and Toys R Us disposition properties.
