Venture Commercial has completed the sale of two former Albertsons buildings located in two North Texas communities, Murphy and Watauga, representing a total of 123,737 square feet of retail space.
In both transactions, John Zikos and Charlotte Cooper with Venture represented the seller, Albertsons, LLC, and Sean Porter with Capstone Commercial Real Estate Group represented the buyer, 356 Development.
“Over the past 12 years, Venture has represented Albertsons in the disposition of its North Texas stores,” said Zikos, a principal and managing partner at Venture. “Throughout this time, we have worked to find the right buyers and tenants that will result in providing needed services to the local communities.”
The Murphy property is a 62,322 square-foot anchor building on 6 acres located at 150 E. FM 544 in the Shops of Murphy at the southwest corner of Murphy Road and FM 544. Murphy is located about 6 miles east of Plano.
The Watauga property is a 61,415 square-foot anchor building on 6.6 acres in the Shops of Watauga, located at 8428 Denton Highway, at the southeast corner of N. Tarrant Parkway and Hwy 377 / Denton Highway. Watauga is located about 12 miles northeast of Fort Worth.
