Lots of brokers say they “think like a retailer,” but few have the credibility of Venture Commercial Partner Bryan Cornelius, who spent 12 years working in corporate real estate for titans Radio Shack, Payless ShoeSource and FedEX Kinko’s. Bryan knows what retailers want and need. He thinks big picture in respect to overall marketing strategy. And as a former corporate real estate executive, Bryan understands what information is necessary to make the right decision on a site for a client. Most importantly, Bryan values client relationships. “I’m not after just any deal. I’m after the right deal, the deal that fits my client’s real estate strategy and results in great store performance,” says Bryan, who represents Payless ShoeSource, GNC, Starbucks, T-Mobile, Foot Locker, Foot Quarters and Massage Envy. Bryan understands that service is the key to a great broker/client relationship and looks at himself as an extension of his client’s real estate department.

Bryan is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a Leader with his two sons’ Boy Scout Troop. He earned a B.B.A. in finance and real estate at Baylor University.
