Savvy retail businesses considering entering the DFW market call Venture Senior Vice President Jonathan Cooper. That’s because Jonathan’s success with LA Fitness, Jimmy Johns Gourmet Sandwiches and The Highlands Bank of Dallas has earned him a reputation as the go-to guy for DFW debuts. Jonathan’s found more than two dozen locations for LA Fitness and continues to help Jimmy Johns shape its strategic entrance into the DFW marketplace. He is equally strong with current DFW retailers that want to expand their reach. He is currently working with established concepts such as Dave & Buster’s and Party City to help further their penetration into DFW. “If I can figure out what drives your customer, I can find you successful locations,” says Jonathan, whose creativity and understanding of the marketplace have lead him to be personally responsible for more than 100 acres of single tenant land transactions and development opportunities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Prior to joining Venture, Cooper worked in tenant representation at the John T. Evans Company. Cooper is a member of Retail Deal Makers and International Council of Shopping Centers. He earned a B.A. in English from the University of Texas in Austin.
