Venture Commercial Partner John Zikos doesn’t take no for an answer. A principal of Venture Development Advisory Services, John is an expert at planning and expediting “ground up” retail developments. That’s because John was a retail developer and partner for Hanover Property Company before joining Venture in 2001. “We step into deals and handle them as if they are our own,” says John about Venture Development Advisory Services. “We’re persistent. We’re creative. We keep working until we get the results that everyone wants.”
In addition to retail development, John has extensive experience in tenant representation, anchor tenant leasing and pad site sales. He has helped put together large retail projects for many of the area’s leading developers. In total, John represents major DFW retail tenants and leases in excess of 3.5 million square feet.
Before joining Venture, John also served as a Vice President with Woodmont Realty Associates where he leased and marketed a variety of retail properties. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, National Association of Realtors, First Baptist Church of Colleyville, National Youth Sports and Upward Basketball. He earned a B.B.A. in Finance at Texas A & M University.
