Wes Bowen, President, co-founded Venture Commercial Management in 2001. Bowen brought extensive knowledge and experience in commercial real estate including property management, asset management, property acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and financing to Venture. As a Principal at Venture, Bowen oversees all property management operations for the company’s third party clients. During his 21 year career, Bowen has held a variety of positions with real estate companies including Vice President of Acquisitions at both Hall Financial Group and at Cambridge Equities, Vice President at Hudson Advisors and President and founder of Princeton Capital, a full service commercial real estate company. Bowen is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Dallas Athletic Club Men’s Golf Association and the University of Oklahoma Alumni Association. Bowen earned a B.A. in Finance from The University of Oklahoma.

Kris A. Schuster KSchuster@venturedfw.com
Kris Schuster, Senior Property Manager, joined Venture Commercial Management in 2002 and brings over 25 years of commercial real estate and property management experience to the company. Schuster began her management career at Henry S. Miller as an Assistant Property Manager where she was quickly promoted to manage a 17-property portfolio that included both retail and office. Following Henry S. Miller, Schuster was a Regional Manager with SWS Realty where she managed commercial properties and multi-family divisions in Dallas. She later joined Cencor Realty Services where for 13 years she held a variety of positions including Director of Property Operations in Austin and Senior Asset Manager in Dallas. Currently, Schuster is managing five shopping centers for third party clients including the exclusive Plaza at Preston Center where she has held an on-site management position for over 5 years. Schuster is an active member of the community with her involvement in GALT and the Battered Women Shelter in Dallas.

Chasity Terry, Property Manager, joined Venture Commercial Management in 2005. Terry currently manages four of Venture’s third party properties: LakeSide Market (Plano’s premier lifestyle center), LakeSide Commons, Oakgrove Plaza, and the Shops on Custer. Prior to her current position, Terry was a Vice President and Property Manager with RBI Properties in Dallas. At RBI she was responsible for the management, acquisition and disposition of a privately owned portfolio that consisted of office and retail properties. Terry began her career at Cencor Realty Services in 1997. Terry is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers and has earned her RPA designation through BOMA. She is also an active member and volunteer with her church. Terry earned a B.B.A. from Texas A&M University.

Maureen Conner, Property Manager, joined Venture Commercial Real Estate in 2006 with over 11 years of commercial real estate and property management experience. With Venture Commercial, Conner is the on-site Property Manager for the specialty center The Village at Camp Bowie in Fort Worth, Texas. Conner began her real estate management career in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with Jack Belt & Associates where she managed office buildings. Once Conner relocated to Dallas in 1996, she accepted employment with Gregory Commercial, Inc. as a Property Manager. During her tenure with Gregory, she assisted in the management of a multi-owner portfolio consisting of 45 retail shopping centers throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In 2004, Trophy Investments and Gregory Commercial promoted Conner to the on-site position of Property Manager at The Village at Camp Bowie. The 272,000 square foot center, located in the heart of Forth Worth’s retail corridor, went through a $10 million renovation in 2005. Conner assisted in overseeing the various stages of construction as it related to the shopping center tenants and the contractors. Conner attended Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana and studied journalism at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
