Venture Commercial Real Estate announced it has represented LA Fitness in lease negotiations to open a new club in Cedar Park, Texas, building on the company’s Central Texas expansion.
LA Fitness will build a 34,000-square-foot facility that will anchor the new Cedar Park Plaza development, located on the northeast corner of Whitestone Boulevard and Bagdad Road.
John Zikos and Jonathan Cooper with Venture Commercial represented LA Fitness in lease negotiations, working with John Kalamaras and Ted Slaughter of RealSource Partners. The landlord, Cedar Park Plaza, LP, was self-represented. Venture is marketing pad sites in the development.
“As LA Fitness continues to expand in North and Central Texas, this location in the growing Austin area will help meet the fitness needs of residents in one of the country’s fastest growing cities,” said Zikos, a principal and managing partner at Venture. “Cedar Park Plaza is filling up quickly and promises to draw lots of traffic from the surrounding community.”
Founded in 1984, LA Fitness is one of the fastest growing sports club chains in the U.S. and presently has more than 800 locations in the U.S. and Canada. For more information, visit LAFitness.com.
